My name is Jordan Savoff, freelance 3D and 2D enthusiast, living in Sofia, Bulgaria. I am currently employed as a 3D Artist responsible mainly for lighting, shading and rendering in a studio doing VFX for the film industry.

Totally self-taught, constantly eager in gaining new skils and getting them to the next level. My main tools are Maya and mental ray. but I currently use Pixar's Renderman based renderer 3Delight by DNA Research. Other software I have experience with:

- Autodesk 3ds Max
- Corel Draw

- Adobe Lightroom
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Dreamweaver and so forth.

I take quite a lot of photographs, since photography entered my life by accident only the summer 2008. Now I love it. You can take a look at some of them here in the Photography section, or the photo dedicated gallery in my Flickr page.

Saying I am constantly interested in gaining new skills I don’t only mean I seek for them in the CG industry. I am awfuly passionate about foreign languages, traveling and meeting foreign cultures is also what I plan to do in the near future if I’d be able to afford it. Curently I speak english but I learn italian and spanish and I should say that I am more comfortable with italian than with spanish so far. But there is time. I became so interested in language learning that I am also going to include my sources of learning material in the Resources section, since I definitely have my point of view over the language learning process.
